Strapi v3.2: Getting into RBAC and the latest Strapi release

In this online meetup, Daniel introduced the new Role Based Access Control feature and demoed it in both Strapi Community and Enterprise Editions.

Audience Questions

So as I understand it's not possible to change the permissions for roles in the CE, correct? You can edit permissions for Editor and Author roles. You will have access to the roles on a field level but you can't change individual operations on the field.

Is the "created by" field private by default? No it isn’t, we will however make it private by default in a future release.

Is it possible to add/edit the fields of admin? Not yet but there is an open issue for it on GitHub.
