We’re thrilled to announce three updates to Strapi that will help you collaborate better, scale faster, and stay secure. Here’s what’s new:
At Strapi, we’ve always valued the broad adoption of our products, recognizing the importance of all users, including those on free plans, for their feedback and community contributions. We aim to provide access to features that align with your growth stage—whether you’re starting out, building a team, or running a large and complex organization. By balancing accessibility, community, and sustainability, we’re ensuring that Strapi evolves alongside your needs.
Ready to dive into the details? Let’s explore what each update means for you.
Over the past months, we’ve spoken with many of you—our users, contributors, and community members—about how you’re using Strapi and what you need as your projects and teams grow.
These conversations revealed that while the Community Edition gives small organizations a solid foundation and the Enterprise Edition provides advanced security features for large organizations, a group in between has been underserved.
Many of you told us that while you were ready to enable your growing teams with advanced collaboration features, the entry point felt too high, or the features available didn’t match what you needed most.
Today, we are excited to introduce our new pricing structure, designed with transparency and flexibility in mind to cater to a wider audience. Our pricing overhaul is guided by the following principles:
This renewed pricing strategy aims to make your choice easier, simplify communication, and offer flexibility tailored to diverse project needs. From freelancers to digital agencies to larger organizations, we hope you will be satisfied by these changes.
Your feedback has been at the heart of how we’ve refined our approach to making Strapi more accessible and aligned with your needs. Together, we’re building solutions that grow with you.
We’re excited to announce the release of Static Preview, one of the most requested features! It’s now free in the Community Edition. Foundational tools like Static Preview should be available to everyone, which is why we made it accessible to all users, no matter the size of your team or project.
Teams of all sizes need confidence and accuracy when publishing. Static Preview gives you the tools to catch mistakes early and ensure your content is just right:
Static Preview is now included in the Community Edition, ensuring this essential content management feature is accessible to everyone. Staying true to our philosophy, foundational tools are free, while advanced team and enterprise features are part of paid plans.
Looking ahead, Live Preview will offer real-time updates and enhanced capabilities for teams managing complex workflows, available in our paid plans. With Static Preview free for all and Live Preview ready for growing needs, you can choose the best fit as your projects evolve. Take a closer look at what Static Preview offers.

As your projects grow, your needs evolve. While the Community Edition is a great place to start and the Enterprise Edition offers robust tools for large organizations, many of you told us there’s a gap for teams that are scaling.
For years, we offered a single advanced plan with all the capabilities required by large enterprises—features for compliance, security, and high scalability. But this left many of you without access to the features you needed without committing to a plan that didn’t quite fit.
Starting at $15 per seat per month, the Growth Plan bridges this gap. It’s packed with advanced collaboration and publishing tools designed to help growing teams work faster, manage content more effectively, and scale projects with ease:
The Growth Plan is designed to help growing teams collaborate effectively, move faster, and build exceptional digital experiences with ease.
Looking ahead, the Growth Plan will continue to evolve. Features like Live Preview will be integrated soon, with more enhancements planned throughout the year.

For the first time, we’re offering a standalone add-on to enhance your Strapi experience. While Strapi has traditionally bundled features into comprehensive plans, the need for secure, centralized access was so distinct that it made perfect sense to introduce it as an add-on, specifically for teams on the Growth Plan.
As your team grows, ensuring secure access to your tools becomes a top priority. While small teams can often rely on simple login methods, larger teams need a seamless and secure way to manage access without overhauling their workflows.
For years, advanced security features like Single Sign-On (SSO) were bundled with enterprise-level plans, leaving smaller teams without an accessible solution. We heard your feedback loud and clear: growing teams need security and simplicity as they scale.
Now, with the new SSO Add-On, available for $50 per seat per month, teams can enhance security without committing to enterprise-level plans:

Here’s a quick summary of what’s new with this update:
We are becoming more intentional about how we design and roll out features as part of our different plans. We will continue to embrace the Buyer-Based Open Core framework to determine which features are open source and which are proprietary. The features that resonate most with individual users will be open source and free, while those that appeal to large organizations are proprietary and come with a price tag. Our goal is to make sure features align with your end-user experience and value at every stage. Core features are there for everyone to use, advanced features help growing teams collaborate and scale, and high-end capabilities are reserved for enterprise customers tackling complex challenges like compliance and security.
Here’s what’s next:
These changes are part of our commitment to growing with you, no matter where you are in your journey.
While we believe we’re heading in the right direction, we know we might not get everything perfect on the first try. We’ll keep working on improving our pricing in the coming months, and we’d love to hear your thoughts. If you have specific needs not covered by these changes or if anything seems unclear, please reach out to us by email or book a meeting. Your feedback would be more than welcome!
We’re excited to keep learning, iterating, and improving alongside you. Let us know what you think—we’d love to hear from you as we move forward. Ready to get started?
